In the Simferopol region, a man was convicted of cruelty to animals. According to the press service of the prosecutor’s office, it was established that at the beginning of this year, a Crimean resident beat a dog with a stick, striking it in the head area. After which he hit him several times… with an ax, resulting in the death of the animal.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 240 hours of compulsory labor.
