CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Crimean Experimental Station celebrates its 100th anniversary. Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova congratulated the veterans of the institution and presented awards to the honored employees.
100 years ago, on June 10, 1924, the opening of a regional experimental station for field cultivation took place in the center of the Crimean steppe. This marked the beginning of the history of agricultural science in the most arid zone of the Crimean peninsula,” noted Alime Zaredinova.
The founder and first head of the Crimean Experimental Station was soil scientist Nikolai Nikolaevich Klepinin. Today the case of N.N. Klepinin and his followers are worthily multiplied by the scientists of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea», deepening developments in the main areas of research and continuing to serve agricultural science.
