The Crimean Federal Penitentiary Service team is the silver medalist of the Dynamo regional sambo championship

The Sambo Championship of the Republic of Crimea, organized by the Regional Organization «Dynamo», took place in Simferopol, in which the personnel of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol took second place of honor.

The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of All-Russian Sambo Day, which celebrates its 85th anniversary this year.

More than 40 athletes from various security agencies of the peninsula took part in the competition. The Penitentiary Department was represented by employees of the Department and its subordinate institutions.

During the competition, the team from the penal system of the Republic of Crimea demonstrated good preparation, perseverance and endurance, demonstrating a high level of sportsmanship, as a result of which they became silver medalists of the championship.

In addition, in the individual competition, all employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service who took part in the competition won prizes in their weight categories: Emil Kurkchi took II place in weight 58 kg, Ibragim Gasanov — II place in weight 71 kg, Alexander Gusev — III in weight 64 kg, Akhmad Iskhaev — III in weight 71 kg, Vitaly Bukarev — III place in weight 98 kg, Ruslan Dzhinikaev — III place in weight 98+ kg.
