The Crimean found 30 kilos of drugs. What will it be
CrimeaPRESS reports:
FSB operatives seized more than 30 kg of cannabis and parts of hemp from a 32-year-old unemployed resident of the Dzhankoy district in the amount of more than 40 million rubles. It was established that the suspected Crimean himself grew the forbidden plant on the territory of the abandoned farmland in the region.
To dry and store the harvested crop, the citizen decided to use an ownerless household in the neighborhood of his place of residence. There, FSB officers found and seized (in terms of dry matter) 11.3 kg of the narcotic drug cannabis and 20.2 kg of parts of hemp plants containing the narcotic drug tetrahydrocannabinol— reported in the FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The investigative department of the FSB opened a criminal case against the citizen under Part 3 of Art. 30 — p. «g» part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illicit production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs”). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to 20 years.
Kyiv District Court of Simferopol took the suspect into custody. So far — for a period of 2 months.
