September, with the blessing of the head of the Crimean Metropolis, His Eminence Lazar, Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea, in Volnovakha and adjacent settlements of the DPR sent another humanitarian convoy.
For several weeks, the parishioners of the churches of Simferopol and the Sevastopol deanery collected targeted parcels, food, hygiene products, and warm clothes for residents of the frontline territories. Simferopol Holy Trinity Convent, with the personal participation of its abbess, Abbess Eusevia (Finger), completed 600 food packages, more than 4 tons for distribution in the Donbass , — notes the press service of the Metropolia .
The head of the Center for Humanitarian Emergency Operations of the Crimean Metropolis, Archpriest Dimitry Krotkov, said that this is the 36th humanitarian convoy in a row , more than 29 tons of necessary things and products have already been transferred. According to the priest, everyone can take part in the collection of humanitarian aid.
