The Crimean parliament adopted a number of bills aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses

At a session of the Crimean parliament, deputies considered a number of bills related to taxation and adopted them in the first reading.
In particular, amendments to the republican law “On establishing the tax rate paid when applying a simplified taxation system in the territory of the Republic of Crimea”, introduced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses, were approved.
The bill proposes to extend until 2024 the effect of reduced tax rates for taxpayers using a simplified taxation system: 4% — if the object of taxation is income, 10% — if the object of taxation is income reduced by the amount of expenses for taxpayers using a simplified taxation system.
The deputies also supported changes to the republican law establishing a zero tax rate for taxpayers — individual entrepreneurs when applying the patent tax system, prepared in accordance with federal legislation.
According to the document, the zero rate for taxpayers is extended until January 1, 2025 under certain conditions:
- the entrepreneur is registered for the first time in this capacity after the zero rate law came into force;
- entrepreneurial activity is carried out in the production, social and (or) scientific spheres, as well as in the field of consumer services to the population.
This rate can be applied from the date of registration of an individual entrepreneur continuously for no more than two tax periods within two calendar years.
Also, in the first reading, the draft Law of the Republic of Crimea “On Amendments to Article 13 of the Law of the Republic of Crimea “On the Salary of State Civil Servants of the Republic of Crimea” was adopted.
The document proposes to clarify the possibility of directing savings in the wage fund of state civil servants to other payments provided for in the structure of the wage fund on the basis of federal and regional regulations.
