The Crimean parliament supported maintaining the preferential rate under the simplified taxation system

More than 15 issues were considered at a meeting of the Committee on Economic, Budgetary, Financial and Tax Policy of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea chaired by Olga Vinogradova with the participation of First Vice-Speaker Andrei Kozyrev and Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Parliament Alla Ponomarenko.
As Olga Vinogradova reported, the most anticipated bill was introduced by the Head of the Republic Sergei Aksyonov, “On establishing the tax rate paid when applying the simplified taxation system in the territory of the Republic of Crimea.” The bill maintains a preferential rate of 1 — 5% for the IT sector and a preferential rate of 4 — 10% for all other sectors of the republic’s economy — all entrepreneurs who work on this taxation system.
During the meeting, the Committee heard information on the execution of the budget of the Republic of Crimea by the Ministry of Finance and the Territorial Compulsory Health Insurance Fund for the first half of 2024, and also considered a block of federal laws.
