The Crimean Prosecutor’s Office monitors the progress of the investigation of the criminal case initiated under Part 1 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules, resulting in negligence in causing serious harm to human health).

To date, it has been established that on February 23, 2024, the driver of a Lada Granta car was moving along the highway “Border with the Kherson region — Simferopol — Alushta — Yalta” from the Angarsk pass towards the village of Privolnoye, Simferopol district, transporting 9 children in the car. and 13 years old. Losing control of the car, the driver allowed it to skid onto the right side of the road in the direction of travel, followed by a collision with a power line support— reported the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
