The Crimean prosecutor's office took control of the investigation into the circumstances of an accident with five victims

The Crimean Prosecutor’s Office took control of the investigation into the circumstances of the accident on the Yalta-Sevastopol highway, in which five people (including three minors) were injured. The accident occurred on May 25, at 13:20, near the village of Kastropol.

The driver of a Mazda car, born in 1984, moving in the direction of Sevastopol, drove into the lane intended for oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Volkswagen car, driven by a driver born in 1998, who was moving towards Yalta. As a result of the accident, the drivers and three minors traveling in a Volkswagen car were injured. Two children, ages 8 and 9, were in child restraints. The victims were taken to a medical facility with their injuries.,” recalled the circumstances of the accident at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Currently, verification activities are being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident.
