The Crimean Prosecutor’s Office is monitoring the investigation into the circumstances of an accident involving three cars in the Belogorsk region.

According to preliminary information, today, November 21, 2023, the driver of a Gazelle car, driving in a tired state along the Tavrida highway near the village. Mezhgorye in the direction of Simferopol, fell asleep, as a result of which he collided with a Scania heavy-duty truck that had previously been parked on the side of the road, and from the impact he again drove into the traffic lane, where he collided with a Lada Vesta car. As a result of the traffic accident, 2 people were injured and are currently hospitalized in a healthcare facility.— reported the supervisory agency.

The acting prosecutor of the Belogorsky district, Valentin Chuprina, went to the scene of the incident.
