The Crimean Railway transported more than 2 million passengers in three months

According to passenger transportation, there is a stable dynamics of increasing volumes, both to the specified parameters and to the level of 2024. At the same time, more than 777 thousand passengers were transported by rail for March 2025— the company said.

For March of this year, 262 thousand people were heading on long trips, 514 — in the aisles of the peninsula, specified in the KZD.

Also, according to the results of the work for March 2025, 428 thousand tons of cargo were transported.

The volume of loading to the level of March 2024 amounted to 87%. Following the work of the first quarter, 1,230.9 thousand tons of cargo were transported, calculated in the KZD.

Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government and the Russian Railways consider the issue of development Crimea railway communication with the central regions of the country through the territory of new entities.
