The Crimean sumo championship took place in the Bakhchisarai region

In Malovidnoe, Bakhchisarai district, on January 19-23, the Crimean sumo championship was held among boys and girls under 15 and 17 years old, as well as juniors and junior women under 19 years old.

According to Sumo Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, more than a hundred athletes from different parts of Crimea competed in doha. The winners will receive the right to represent our republic at the Russian Championship, which will be held on March 28 — April 1 in the capital of Tatarstan — Kazan,” notes Crimean Sport.

The winners in their weight categories were: boys under 15 years old – Yusuf Settarov, Nikolay Kurochkin, Andrey Zheikov, Armen Pogosyan, Nikita Kulitsa, Timur Urunov, Igor Apostolov and Arthur Pankov; girls under 15 years old – Anastasia Pevneva, Olesya Nekrasova, Ksenia Blazhenko and Ksenia Panasenko; boys under 17 years old – Bogdan Terekhin, Midat Kostyuk, Oleg Erokhin, Edgar Smbatyan and Yaroslav Vinnikov; girls under 17 years old – Zarina Gareeva, Maria Domashenko, Alevtina Kravchenko, Polina Danilevskaya, Lyubov Kalashnikova and Nazife Ramazanova; juniors under 19 years old – Spartak Rybalchenko, Anatoly Shatrov, Ramazan Useinov, Titan Rybalchenko, Daniil Burdulenko, Yaroslav Vinnikov and Bogdan Rovinsky; juniors under 19 years old – Maria Zvyagintseva, Karina Belokur, Pakize Zeytullaeva and Anastasia Chernyavskaya.
