The good theatrical tradition of closing the season with a skit has been revived in the Crimean Youth Theatre. The Crimean Youth Theatre employees, participants of the educational project Theatre+ and members of the audience club gathered in the main hall of the theatre. The cheerful and light show was prepared by the theatre directors and actors Sergey Novikov and Sergey Tolstykh.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Tereshchenko, who congratulated everyone on the successful season and presented letters of gratitude to the theater staff. Also, a badge from the Ministry of Culture was presented to the director, teacher, and head of the acting group «Artichoke» Irina Faustova. For a month, subscribers to the social networks of the Crimean Youth Theater voted for their favorite actors and premieres of the season. Based on the voting results, the following statuettes were awarded: «Best Supporting Actress» — Yulia Avdonina, «Best Supporting Actor» — Petr Permyakov, «Best Actress» — Wilhelmina Mettel, «Best Actor» — Roman Ryzhov, «Best Premiere of the Season» — «Everyone Likes Yana (Not)», directed by S. Tolstykh. The Youth Theater employees also made their choice, so based on the results of the season, the best information partner of the theater was the Yevpatoria Tourist Information Center, and the most active spectator was the director of School No. 11 named after Evgrafa Ryzhova Olga Onishchenko— the theater’s press service noted.
The «Results of the Season» award will become regular, and everyone will be able to attend the next cabaret.
Already in September, the Crimean Youth Theatre will once again open its doors to its viewers and will delight them with new premieres, projects and some surprises that are still being kept secret.
