Project teams participating in the program will be able to create innovative products, strengthen competencies, develop their ideas, receive support from experts and the opportunity to attract funding to implement their startup projects.
At the Boiling Point of SevSU, students will enjoy an educational program — lectures, trainings, networking, technology festivals, workshops, TED meetings with successful entrepreneurs. 30 teams will advance to the accelerator semifinals and continue their journey to implementing the project in the fall semester. The 10 best teams will make it to the finals and will be able to present their projects to potential investors, and the winner will receive guaranteed funding for the implementation of their startup.
The CyberRoy acceleration program is being implemented within the framework of the federal project “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform”. Among the goals of the project is the integration of Northern State University into the ecosystem of technological entrepreneurship, as well as the integration of methods and tools for creating and launching technology startups (in the industry of unmanned aircraft systems) into the educational programs of the university.
For the university, the implementation of the acceleration program this year is of particular importance, since 2nd year students are choosing an educational track for the first time, one of which is entrepreneurial. The implementation of acceleration programs at the university site as a whole is an important tool for motivating students to choose an entrepreneurial development path and achieve one of the strategic goals — to transform into an entrepreneurial university by 2030, – notes the rector Sevastopol State University Vladimir Nechaev.
More than 10 industrial companies from Sevastopol and other Russian cities have been involved in the implementation of the acceleration program; they will act as partners and provide the opportunity to pilot projects on their material and technical base. The key industrial partner of the project is ITPARK.RU.
As serial IT entrepreneur, founder of ITPARK.RU Dmitry Gachko noted:
The main goal of ITPARK.RU is to create a full-fledged IT community — entrepreneurs, developers, game designers and even venture investors. To achieve this, we create a seamless and rich environment. In order to grow and develop the IT community, on the one hand, we constantly implement our own training programs, and on the other, we consider it necessary to support large federal projects that, by consolidating the efforts of the state, education and business, increase human resources in the IT industry .
The acceleration program will be implemented from April to November 2024. The program starts with forum «Rise of CyberRoy».
