The deadline for accepting applications for participation in tournaments under the auspices of the Football Federation of the Simferopol Region has been given

Football Federation of Simferopol region announced the start of the application campaign in its tournaments for the 2024 season. It will last until March 15.

Traditionally, the new season in regional football will open with a match for the Super Cup, in which on March 24, “Kalamita-A2MED” from Nikolaevka (the current champion) and “Legion” from Malenkoye (Cup winner) will meet.

From March 30 to May 11, the District Cup will take place (with the obligatory participation of teams planning to enter the championship). The Cup draw is March 22. First, the group stage of the competition will take place according to the Swiss system (four groups of 8-9 teams, each team will play 3 matches). Then, according to the results of the group stage, the teams will be divided into “Gold” (1-4 places in their groups) and “Silver” playoffs (5-8 places in groups). All stages of the playoffs (starting from the 1/8 finals) are from one match in pairs. The final matches in the “Golden” and “Silver” playoffs are scheduled for May 11.

At the end of April (until the 26th), based on the opinions of team leaders, the format of the Open District Championship (classic two-round tournament or Swiss system) will be approved. During the “classic”, two or three leagues will be formed based on sports performance (“tower” – at least 10 teams, in all – no more than 14). Under the Swiss system there will be two leagues — the highest and the first (16-18 teams in each).

The championship is scheduled to end no later than November 24.

The limit on players playing in teams of the Crimean Open Championship has been cancelled, but a limit has been introduced on CFS players who previously played for any team in the championship of the Simferopol region — according to the “3+1” formula (four in the application, four in the match protocol, three simultaneously in field during the game).
