He was found guilty under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm).
The court found that on July 1, 2023, while intoxicated, the defendant, while in the bedroom of his apartment, entered into a conflict with his cohabitant. During the quarrel, the attacker took a knife from the surface of a table located in the same room, with which he struck the victim once in the abdomen. As a result, the victim suffered serious harm to health— said the prosecutor’s office.
At the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt to the charges. The man was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
