The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation helped a veteran of the Northern Military District apply for disability

Crimean Dmitry served in the volunteer detachment «Bars». Awarded the Order of Courage. He was fired due to injury, but did not receive confirmation of a military injury and disability. Since November of last year, the Crimean resident and his wife have applied to all authorities, but to no avail.

From the first days of the foundation’s work, the social coordinator dealt with the issues of this family. The veteran has already been helped to apply for disability and appropriate measures of social support. Managed to change the wording of the dismissal order— said the head of the Crimean branch of the state fund «Defenders of the Fatherland» Vladimir Tregub.

Based on the results of the work of the Crimean branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, for three months the areas in which the largest number of problems were solved were determined. These are the issues of assigning benefits for utility bills (1234 appeals) and social support measures (920 appeals). The fund notes that requests for participation in cultural and sporting events remain quite popular, with which they have applied 370 times.
