The delegation of the Republic of Kalmykia visited Sevastopol. To share experiences
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The delegation of the Republic of Kalmykia visited Sevastopol to exchange experience in the implementation of the investment standard. Such a standard will be introduced throughout Russia and will allow each region to attract new investments, unlock potential, and create a single transparent algorithm for working with investors. The visit took place within the framework of the training program of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation «Managerial Skills: Development of Regional Teams».
Quite recently, the investment team of our region adopted the achievements of colleagues from the Republic of Kalmykia, now it’s our turn to talk about the achievements of Sevastopol. Today we shared our experience of interaction with investors and digitalization, showed our systems of interaction with business, portals that we have been creating for several years. They also spoke about the activities of the My Business center, created as part of the national project Small and Medium Enterprises, the work of clusters— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of economic development Denis Profatilov.
The first point of the visit was the My Business center, which works with every third entrepreneur in the region. For three years, more than eight thousand business representatives received support from the center’s specialists. During the meeting, the Sevastopol team presented to colleagues the key areas for the development of the region, including priority projects. Director of the Digital Development Department Alexandra Osipova spoke about the Smart City project, and Georgy Bezhanidze, head of the priority project, spoke about the fishing cluster.
For us, this is a mutual exchange of experience in working with investors. This experience is useful because, although we have different conditions, the goal is the same — to find a common language with investors, to create all the conditions for them to implement projects in our regions. We are interested to see tourism and other projects that are being implemented in the region— emphasizes the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade of Kalmykia Natalia Ganzhigaeva.
Further, within the framework of the visit, the delegation went to the IT Crimea Technopark. Already, it has about 20 resident companies, employing more than 300 people. By 2030, about 5,000 jobs will be created here, and new facilities are also planned: a corporate university, a business incubator, innovation laboratories, a congress center, coliving and others. The amount of investments in the project has already amounted to more than 240 million rubles, the plan until 2030 is more than 3 billion rubles.
Another point was the winery «Zolotaya Balka» with the production of a full cycle: from the vine to the glass. The agricultural firm specializes in the creation of primarily sparkling wines, producing about 6 million bottles per year. The company combines the industry — the production of wine — and the tourism component. Industrial tourism for Sevastopol is a new phenomenon that can not only attract more guests, but also create new jobs. According to Denis Profatilov, this will help improve the investment climate.
Let us recall that earlier the delegation of Sevastopol visited the Republic of Kalmykia as part of the training. During the trip, a business meeting was held with the Chairman of the Government of Kalmykia, Gilana Boshomdzhieva. The parties discussed the economic situation of the regions and possible ways of interaction.
