The Department of Veterinary Medicine of Sevastopol — two gold medals of the exhibition «Golden Autumn — 2022»

The XXIV All-Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition «Golden Autumn — 2022» was held in the Patriot Park near Moscow. This is one of the largest platforms for demonstrating the achievements of the industry, discussing the current agenda and exchanging experience, including in the field of veterinary medicine.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the winners of the competition «For the development, production and implementation of effective medicines and preparations for veterinary use, the high efficiency of anti-epizootic measures in the territory of the Russian Federation, the elimination, treatment of contagious and non-contagious animal diseases, popularization veterinary profession in the region. The Veterinary Administration of Sevastopol was awarded diplomas and gold medals in two categories: «For the effective implementation of anti-epizootic measures on the territory of the subject of the Russian Federation» and «For the contribution to the promotion of the profession, career guidance, preservation of the traditions and history of veterinary medicine in the city of Sevastopol» , — reported in the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

The State Veterinary Service of Sevastopol annually conducts more than 14 thousand animal studies and about 184 thousand preventive vaccinations and treatments against infectious diseases. This is painstaking everyday, extremely important and irreplaceable work, on which the well-being of our region depends on dangerous infectious animal diseases. And of course, we are proud that for the fifth year in a row at the agro-industrial exhibition «Golden Autumn» the state veterinary service of the city of Sevastopol has been awarded the highest award for the effective implementation of anti-epizootic measures,» said Nikolai Dmitriev, head of the department.

The exhibition was held from 5 to 8 October as part of the Week of the Agro-Industrial Complex, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
