The development of the region's power grids is being discussed in Sevastopol. There are problems
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Governor of the city of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, and the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Shulginov, held a meeting at the Government of Sevastopol on the development of city electrical networks for 2024–2026. The meeting was attended by representatives of SO UES JSC, Sevastopolenergo LLC, Rosseti PJSC, FSUE 102 PES.
Previously, the Government of Sevastopol, together with the Ministry of Energy of Russia, approved the scheme and plan for the development of energy in Sevastopol, and it was also adjusted taking into account the data received from the developers of the General Plan. Currently, peak electricity consumption in Sevastopol is 345 megawatts; 2-3 years ago this figure was less than 300. Therefore, the main task is the comprehensive development of energy networks to fully support the life of the city,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. — We have long-standing problems that are known to everyone — for example, energy supply to dacha areas. I understand that those who, with the onset of cold weather, begin to suffer due to power outages, sometimes it seems that their problems begin to be dealt with only in winter and in a targeted manner. But this is not so: work goes on all year round. In addition, the city is growing, territories of integrated development are appearing, but now the fragmentation of networks does not allow for a unified technical and operational policy — therefore consolidation of the network complex is necessary.
Nikolay Shulginov noted the need for intensive development of the regional energy system:
The problem is clear: consumption in Sevastopol is growing, networks need to be developed, their current state does not allow for intensive development of consumption or the connection of new facilities.
The meeting participants worked out a specific plan of priority activities, which includes the reconstruction of existing networks and substations taking into account the real needs of people and the planned increase in the number of city residents, the construction of new networks and substations, the replacement of power transformers, the construction of the Nakhimovskaya substation, as well as the reconstruction of the transit high-voltage line 110 kV «Sevastopol — PS-10 — Zarya — Yalta (Darsan)» in the existing section (without passing through the protected area) with an increase in throughput capacity.
The complex of these measures is designed until 2027 inclusive; implementation is estimated in total at approximately 21.5 billion rubles.
