CrimeaPRESS reports:

The director of the KurortTorgService enterprise in the urban district of Yevpatoria was taken into custody on charges of receiving a large bribe.

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol is investigating a criminal case against the director of the municipal unitary enterprise «KurortTorgService» of the urban district of Evpatoria, accused of receiving a bribe through an intermediary for illegal actions on a large scale (clause «c» of part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code RF Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). It was established that the official demanded a bribe of 700 thousand rubles from two individual entrepreneurs for assistance in winning an auction for renting non-residential premises in Evpatoria for a store— said the Sledkom.

After the director of KurortTorgService received part of a bribe in the amount of 250 thousand rubles, he was detained near a coffee shop on Franko Boulevard in the city of Simferopol by operational officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, with the assistance of colleagues from the Economic Security and Combating Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
