The director of the enterprise «Sevgeocenter» is accused of taking a bribe on an especially large scale

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol completed the investigation of a criminal case against the director of Sevgeocenter LLC, accused of taking a bribe on an especially large scale by an official (part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigator for particularly important cases of the Sevastopol Interdistrict Investigation Department found that an individual entrepreneur turned to the director of Sevgeocenter LLC regarding the sale of real estate by the institution in the city center. During the meeting, the official offered to purchase several non-residential premises located on the street. Ochakovtsev, at a lower cost, at the same time demanding a bribe in the amount of 1 million rubles and another 30 thousand — for a third-party expert examination of the market value of real estate, necessary for a deal to alienate it at a lower cost— reported in the Sledkom.
After receiving funds from the merchant, the director of Sevgeocenter LLC was detained by operational officers of the UEBiPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol and the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
At the place of work and residence of the person involved in the criminal case, investigative actions were carried out, the funds transferred as a bribe, and documentation of interest to the investigating authorities were seized. At the request of the investigator, the court chose a measure of restraint for the accused in the form of detention.
At present, the investigation of the criminal case has been completed. All necessary investigative actions have been taken. The criminal case was sent to the prosecutor’s office for the purpose of studying, signing the indictment and sending it to court.
