On October 6, the Good Movement festival was held in Simferopol, in Seminarsky Square. There were workshops on painting on canvas, painting of shoppers, face painting, poetry and even an on-site barbershop for children.
Poems at this family holiday were read by Maria Batyukhno, a poetess, member of the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland, trustee of the Darina Life Charitable Foundation for helping children with cancer in Crimea, wife of a SVO participant and mother of two sons. By education, Maria is a primary school and English teacher, but her main work experience is as a HR director in large companies, but now Maria and her son are undergoing treatment for cancer, so she is on sabbatical leave.
Mimla Zhe performed a poetic performance “Thoughts on Meaning”. The poetess told and showed incredible (interactive) stories of friendship to children and adults and presented her book of poems “Aloud and Together” to the guests of the charity festival.
All funds raised at this charity event are aimed at supporting children with cancer undergoing treatment at the Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital on Titova — Charitable Foundation «DariNa Life».
