The Feodosia City Court of the Republic of Crimea satisfied the claims of the prosecutor of the city of Feodosia of the Republic of Crimea, acting in the interests of a minor child, against the Administration of the city of Feodosia of the Republic of Crimea for compensation for moral damage.
Thus, the city prosecutor’s office conducted an investigation into the appeal of the legal representative of a minor child on the issue of protecting the rights of her daughter in connection with a stray dog bite. During the inspection, it was established that in January 2023, a minor child walked near an apartment building located on the street. Grina, 35 in Feodosia, where she was bitten by a stray dog on her right shin, and therefore she received the necessary treatment and vaccination at the Feodosia Medical Center. The responsibility for catching stray dogs on the territory of the municipal district of the Feodosiya city district of the Republic of Crimea is assigned to the city administration, meanwhile, the municipal contract for the implementation of powers to handle animals without owners was concluded only on 02/27/2023.— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the court.
As a result of a dog bite, a minor child received lacerations, experienced physical pain, physical and moral suffering, in connection with which the prosecutor filed a lawsuit in which he asked to recover from the Administration of the city of Feodosia of the Republic of Crimea in favor of the child’s legal representative the moral damage caused the latter, in the amount of 50,000 rubles, the demands for which were satisfied by the court in full.
The court decision did not enter into legal force; it was appealed by the Administration of the city of Feodosia of the Republic of Crimea to the appellate instance.
