The driver of the bus that made an accident in the Crimea was left in the pre -trial detention center

On March 26, the court elected the driver a preventive measure in the form of arrest, he filed an appeal against this decision.

According to the results of the consideration of the appeal from the bus driver on the court decision on the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea upheld the decision— the interlocutor of the agency said.

The court left without changing the measure of restraint in the form of detention in relation to <...>, accused of committing a crime under Part 5 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of the road that entailed by negligence the death of two or more persons). According to the results of the consideration of the case materials in appeal, the decision of the Simferopol district court of the Republic of Crimea was left unchanged, the appeal is not satisfied— said in court.

Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov reportedthat from the regional budget the families of the dead will be paid 1.5 million rubles of assistance, 300 thousand or 600 thousand rubles will also receive victims depending on the severity of injuries.
