CrimeaPRESS reports:
The East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve for the first time joined the “Giving Tuesday” charity event.
The purpose of the campaign is not only to help those in need, but also to develop a culture of charity, to provide assistance to those who want to do good deeds and help others,” noted the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
As part of the event, the museum-reserve organized a special event for pupils of the Kerch special boarding school. They were given a comprehensive tour in the Art Gallery of permanent and temporary exhibitions: “Heroes of Adzhimushkai on the canvases of N.Ya. Buta”, “Christianity and Kerch”, “Melpomene on the Bosporus”, “Among the worlds in the twinkling of the stars”. The children were also shown the exhibition “Peoples of Crimea” from the collections of the Crimean Ethnographic Museum, which completed the exhibition in Kerch.
The wide variety of topics covered in the exhibition halls allowed schoolchildren to significantly expand their knowledge of the history and culture of their native land.
At the end of the excursion, young guests of the museum-reserve actively shared their impressions of visiting the Art Gallery.
