The educational block of the regional stage of the «Mom-entrepreneur» program starts in Sevastopol

«Mama-entrepreneur» is a federal educational project in the field of supporting women with a business idea or a working project and with children. Its idea was laid in 2013, over 11 years more than 7 thousand women took part, and 247 people became winners of the competition. Within the framework of the program, more than 255 trainings were held, including on social entrepreneurship.

Training in the «Mom-entrepreneur» project is conducted in the form of face-to-face trainings on the basics of entrepreneurship and effective business management. For the best business project, based on the results of the jury’s vote, one participant will receive a grant of 100,000 rubles and the opportunity to compete for 1,000,000 rubles at the federal stage in Moscow.

From August 14 to 20, training for Sevastopol entrepreneurs of the project will start at the My Business Center. During the training, participants in the educational program will learn how to form a portrait of an ideal client, test ideas on the target audience, and create a selling value proposition.

This year we received 54 applications for participation, based on the results of the submitted applications, 45 of them were admitted to the regional competition. This result indicates the growing interest of mothers in the development of entrepreneurship in Sevastopol. We will be glad to see the participants at the site of the Center «My Business» as recipients of support measures, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Center «My Business» Natalia Borisova.

Last year, 41 applications were received to participate in the educational program “Mom-entrepreneur”, and 19 participants completed the training and defended their theses before the committee.

Let us recall that the program is being implemented with the personal support of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Tatyana Ilyushnikova, and within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship”.
