The educational volunteer festival “DobroGrad” ended in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The educational volunteer festival “DobroGrad” was implemented within the framework of the regional project “Social Activity” of the national project “Education”. From October 14 to 18, at the Laspi children’s camp, it gathered 100 participants: 70 youth representatives from Sevastopol and 30 from the Zaporozhye region.
Over the course of four days, participants worked together with regional and federal experts, and the educational program in areas of volunteering and soft skills was held in the format of interactive lectures, master classes and gaming practices.
Doing good is easy, especially when we are together. I am sure that the DobroGrad festival presented new ideas and practices to all participants, and the volunteer communities of Sevastopol and the Zaporozhye region will hold many joint events– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the youth affairs department Marina Slonchenko.
The result of the festival was a large cultural program, which was thought out and organized by the participants themselves. The children went through stations, answered questions about volunteering and completed practical tasks. Also on Anthem Day, the guys unfurled the flag and sang the anthem of Sevastopol.
Together with the guys, we developed our events for next year, when the whole country will celebrate 80 years of liberation from the Nazi invaders. I plan to take an active part in these events, because it is important to remember and not let our history be rewritten, and perhaps I will be able to become part of the organizing team,” notes participant Anastasia.
Let us remind you that the volunteer festival “DobroGrad” is being held for the first time thanks to the victory in the All-Russian competition of the best regional practices for supporting volunteering (volunteering) “Region of Good Deeds” 2023.
