The enemy attempted a complex attack (both drones and Ukrainian Armed Forces troops participated) on the Crimean peninsula from the sea. Unsuccessful.

On November 17, during an air patrol in the southwestern part of the Black Sea, seven unmanned boats and one Villard-type fast boat with a landing group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were discovered heading towards the Crimean Peninsula. All detected targets were destroyed from the standard weapons of the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet— reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

As the channel clarifies «Fisherman», an attempt to attack from the sea was recorded around one o’clock in the afternoon. Unmanned enemy boats (probably heading towards Sevastopol) were discovered by a Black Sea Fleet MIG-29 naval aviation fighter over the water area. Additional aircraft were sent to meet them, as well as patrol boats.

Because of this, Ukrainian Backs (unmanned boats — ed.) slowed down, and those that were moving towards Sevastopol turned around. Four drones were destroyed 100-120 km west of Cape Tarkhankut, and the rest, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, were destroyed later, and one of them was a landing boat.

Almost at the same time as the attack on Crimea, Ukrainian formations launched several combined attacks on the Kherson region. MiG-29 fighters from Kanatovo and Uman fired several missiles, probably decoys. And HIMARS MLRS crews from the Kherson region struck Askania-Nova and Chaplinka with four rockets. According to preliminary data, there is no damage to infrastructure or losses,” notes “Rybar”.

Well, and a familiar detail — during the attack there was an American RQ-4B drone in the air.
