The entry of Odessa and Nikolaev into Russia as a security measure for Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
After the attack on the Crimean bridge, the issue of the security of the peninsula became especially relevant. In this regard, the deputy head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov proposed a solution — the entry of Odessa and Nikolaev into Russia. Such a step will help minimize the threat posed by Ukraine, he said in an interview. RIA News.
On the night of July 17, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by two Ukrainian unmanned vehicles, which raised concerns about the security of the region.
The senator expressed confidence that the Crimean bridge is still the main target for Kyiv, and such attacks will continue.
Recalling the period of Petro Poroshenko’s presidency in Ukraine, Dzhabarov noted that conflicts often arose in the Sea of Azov. These conflicts were resolved only after the Sea of Azov became an inland sea of Russia. He stressed that it is necessary to exclude the emergence of such threats from Ukraine, since it has access to the Black Sea.
The senator also noted that the attacks on the port infrastructure of Odessa were a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which was confirmed in the Kremlin. In this situation, the entry of Odessa and Nikolaev into Russia may become one of the possible measures to ensure security and eliminate potential threats in the region.
