The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol charged the former head of the production and technical department of the capital construction department of the Yalta administration with receiving a bribe by an official on a large scale (clause “c” of part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Office for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases established that from August 2022 to March 2023, the then-current employee received from a representative of a construction company, which was a contractor in the implementation of municipal contracts for the reconstruction of kindergartens, 400 thousand rubles for general patronage, adjustment of certificates of work performed , influencing other administration officials and speeding up payment. The money was transferred to the head of the department to a bank card, after which the woman spent it on personal needs— reported in Sledkom.
Illegal activities were detected during operational activities by employees of the Department for Economic Security and Combating of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
