The exhibition «Art.Youth» presents new names to viewers from all over the country

From July 26 to 28, contemporary artists from all over Russia will present their works at the venues of the Festival of Young Multinational Art «Tavrida.ART». Festival participants will be able not only to see, but also to purchase products and works of art.
For three days, the exhibition «Art.Youth» will bring together the works of young designers and artists, will reveal new names to a wide audience and will show the festival participants the versatility of young Russian art.
The main goal of the exhibition is to show the diversity of our country’s culture and the national identity of the peoples inhabiting it through art and design objects. Festival visitors will be able not only to purchase interesting goods, but also to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of national color, learn about original local brands and their creators.
The exhibition «Art.Youth» is a cross-section of contemporary young multinational art and continues the artistic exploration of national heritage. The central narrative of the project is «We are different, but we are one family» — is revealed in the expositions presented at various venues of the Tavrida.ART festival. In total, more than 70 young authors from all over Russia are participating in the exhibition.
The project sums up the preliminary results of a bright season and reveals new names that became known thanks to the results of the open call, educational visits of the art school of contemporary art and the program «Youth Creative Community of Fine Arts» Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom».
Fine Art Gallery will present an exhibition by Moscow artist Katya Belyavskaya, «Beautiful Far Away». In her works, Ekaterina, understanding the impossibility of returning to the past, as an artist and designer skillfully interprets the iconic elements of the existence of the USSR, returning us to childhood or to a non-existent ideal.
Artist Marina Lizorkina presents works in an authentic authorial petal technique, and painter Mira Argunova presents an exhibition of paintings entitled “The Age-Old Union of Brotherly Peoples,” which transport viewers to the world of proverbs and sayings of the peoples of Russia.
The Moscow Exhibition Halls Association will present Olga Timokhina’s works «My Vast Homeland», where one of the main distinguishing features of the artist’s work is a bright palette. The kaleidoscope of created images invites the viewer to appreciate the diversity of the peoples inhabiting Russia, harmoniously coexisting with each other.
The youth creative community IZO presents an exhibition of art objects «Nearby», which is a retrospective of the history of the creation of this community within the framework of the Academy «Meganom» program. This is a reflection of the path that the creator takes not only from home to «Tavrida», but also from his own «I» to all-Russian values. Curators, photographers, art managers, art critics and artists from all corners of Russia united to bring their art to «Tavrida». «Nearby» consists of three thematic sections, within which the artists reflect on the issues of the cultural characteristics of a multinational country.
In 2024, an important direction for the development of the Art.Youth exhibition is expanding the geography of participants. Young artists from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Krasnodar Krai, Moscow, the Republics of Mordovia and Mari El, the Republic of Crimea, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kursk and Kirov regions, as well as the Zaporozhye region will present their works at the exhibition.
