In Simferopol, in the Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library named after. AND I. Franco, the opening of the group art exhibition “Breath of Stone” took place.
The presented graphic, pictorial works and installations reflect the natural power of stone and force the viewer to look at this material as an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artist. The patterns of stones, their colors and texture — all this served as a prototype for the authors of the works.
The curator of the exhibition, Sevastopol graphic artist Vladimir Novikov, delivered a welcoming speech. He revealed to the audience the ideas and meanings embedded in the exhibition. Guests of the vernissage were able to ask the organizers of the exhibition and the authors of the works questions that interested them and communicate with them in an informal atmosphere— reported the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
