The exhibition “Konstantin Bogaevsky. Crimean Mystery. A large-scale project dedicated to the anniversary of the painter opens the cycle events about his life and work.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the exposition includes works from museums and archives of Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Crimea, Vologda, Voronezh, Kazan, Kirov, Krasnodar, Ryazan, Samara. The project was initiated by the Russian State Art Gallery (Sevastopol).
With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, 4 picturesque and graphic works of the master from the collection of the Simferopol Art Museum, among them «Old Harbor» (1931), «Port of an imaginary city» (1032), «Mountain landscape» (1931), «Evening by the Sea» (1908), watercolor «Memories of Mantegna» (1940), graphic intro to the cycle of poems «Altars of the Desert» from the collection of poems by M.A. Voloshin «Years of Wanderings» (1908) and other works , the message says.
It is noted that at the end of May in the Simferopol Art Museum it is planned to open the exhibition “Feodosia genius: to 03-anniversary of Konstantin Bogaevsky.
