The exhibition “New Year's Mosaic” opened in Chernomorskoye

The exhibition “New Year’s Mosaic” is on display at the Black Sea Museum of History and Local Lore. Visitors are presented with Christmas tree decorations of the Soviet period from the stock collection of the Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve «Kalos Limen», as well as handmade toys made by Elena Kulik.
The exhibition includes toys from the 60s, 70s and 80s of the last century, made from various materials.
Glass toys are distinguished by their depiction of the smallest details and the accuracy of their shapes — these Christmas tree decorations can well be called a real work of art. The exhibition features toys on clothespins, painted balls, figurines of animals and birds, fairy-tale characters, vegetables and fruits, mounted decorations — beads strung on wire and tubes of bugles, as well as a small Christmas tree, figurines of Father Frost and the Snow Maidensaid the exhibition organizers.
The original works of Elena Kulik will also arouse interest among visitors. All toys are made using the cotton papier-mâché technique.
