The family “hot business” did not work out. In Crimea, mother and daughter were convicted of counterfeit alcohol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Crimea, a mother and daughter were convicted of selling counterfeit alcohol. The court found that a resident of one of the villages of the Kirovsky district, being an individual entrepreneur, carried out trading activities in a grocery store.
In September 2022, a woman produced 30 liters of alcohol-containing liquid. Having entered into a criminal conspiracy with her mother, with whom she worked shifts as a salesperson in a grocery store, the women sold counterfeit alcohol— said the prosecutor’s office.
An important BUT — a toxic substance such as acetone was found in the alcohol-containing liquid sold.
The illegal activities of the criminals were stopped by police officers.
The Kirov District Court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the woman to a fine of 200 thousand rubles for the store owner, and 50 thousand rubles for her mother. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
