The family of a Sevastopol employee of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, who won the “Family of the Year” competition, was awarded at the Kremlin Palace

Love, care, traditional values. The winners of the “Family of the Year” competition were awarded at the State Kremlin Palace. In the “Large Family” category, the family of Sergei Kurtukov, the head of the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for Sevastopol, was honored. He and his wife Natalya are raising four children.

Sergei has served for 29 years and has dozens of departmental awards. Natalia works as an accountant. And at home she is a sensitive and caring mother. In 2005, sons Egor and Danil were born into the family, and 4 years later – twins again: daughters Alina and Diana were born. Children are active, creative, sporty. Diana enjoys drawing, Alina enjoys horse riding. The girls received many certificates for participating in photo competitions, patriotic games, environmental events, cultural and other events. Danil has awards for victories in football tournaments and championships. Egor is a winner of creative competitions— note the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.

The award ceremony for the winners was solemn and bright, the families were congratulated by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Issues of Paternity, Maternity and Childhood Nina Ostanina. The holiday was decorated with performances by pop stars and performances by representatives of circus and music dynasties.

At the qualifying stage, more than 11,000 applications were received for the competition. 88 winners selected. They are all as one: the strength of Russia lies in a strong family!
