The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Crimea celebrates its anniversary — 75 years since its formation

According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, throughout all 75 years, FNPK employees have performed important tasks to protect human rights in the world of work.

You acted as an arbiter between people, the enterprises where they worked, and the authorities. They spared no effort and always tried to resolve any issue fairly– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.

The head of the republic recalled that after the reunification of Crimea with Russia in 2014, the activities of the FNPK were systematized and reorganized:

For this, thanks to the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia and its chairman Mikhail Viktorovich Shmakov. Today, a tripartite agreement has been concluded between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, trade union associations and employers, thanks to which we can jointly solve problems that concern workers in different industries.

Sergei Aksyonov added that one of the most important tasks that remains to be resolved is increasing the wages of citizens.

Wages must ensure a decent standard of living for our citizens. Thanks to the President’s order to increase the level of the minimum wage starting from the new year, we will be able to further protect people and increase their real incomes,” the Head of the Republic emphasized.

Sergei Aksyonov also emphasized that all difficulties can only be overcome together.

We need to work to ensure that workers perceive their employers and authorities as their allies, always ready to help– emphasizes the Head of Crimea.

In addition, the Head of the Republic thanked workers of trade union organizations for their systematic support of the Russian Armed Forces and the humanitarian aid they collect for the Northern Military District soldiers.
