The third day of the Festival of National Cultures «Sevetnofest-2024» has ended, which opened its doors for the first time on the territory of the Gagarinsky Municipal District. Young residents of the district were able to take part in fascinating master classes on folk crafts, exciting historical quests and ethnic quizzes, and also see a photo exhibition dedicated to the military glory of the peoples of Russia.
In Sevastopol, the festival is held for the third year in a row, but for the first time on the territory of municipal entities. Gagarinsky municipality provided us with invaluable assistance in organizing this event. The main result was the happy faces of the participants, who once again became convinced that our motto «There are many peoples, but one country» is the only true path— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for work with national and religious organizations of the Department of Internal Policy Vladimir Kolesnikov.
Representative of the Gagarin administration Vitaly Konokhov emphasized:
This event is a clear indication of the amazingly multinational country we live in. The festival allows us to once again remind the residents of our region and the entire city of the cultural wealth that we possess.
Master class participant Elmaz Khlopdanova shared her impressions:
Everything was interesting, there is a place to show your creativity. I really liked the ethnography quest — it was an opportunity to test my knowledge of the culture of other nationalities.
The festival «Sevetnofest-2024» continues its mission to unite the residents of Sevastopol, carefully preserving and enhancing the unique cultural heritage of the peoples of the Hero City.
