The fifth season of city exercises started in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, the fifth season of citywide exercises will last until October 30. The first event this year was held on the site in front of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity. It was timed to coincide with World Health Day, which is celebrated on April 7th.
It has become a good tradition to celebrate World Health Day every year with a city-wide exercise in the very heart of Sevastopol. This year the charging cycle starts for the fifth time. The project is very popular, we are gaining momentum, as a result of which we receive a large number of positive reviews from residents of different age categories. Sevastopol residents have always been known for their unity and today they once again confirmed this— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for youth and sports, Sergei Reznichenko.
The charging program includes a complex of restorative morning exercises and dance aerobics. Also in the classroom, Sevastopol residents can get advice on physical education and a healthy lifestyle.
Anyone can join the outdoor sports. Charging will take place every Wednesday and Saturday from 7:00 to 8:00 at the following locations:
- Victory park;
- park named after Anna Akhmatova;
- Square of the 60th Anniversary of the USSR on General Ostryakova Avenue;
- a park at the intersection of Krestovsky and Novikov streets in Balaklava;
- Dinopark.
From June 1 to September 28, the number of locations will increase. Charging will take place additionally:
- on the city beach «Crystal» on the Pereleshin embankment;
- in the park «Uchkuevka»;
- on the territory of the park zone of Malakhov Kurgan;
- in the Cossack Bay;
- in the square of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution in Inkerman;
- in the square near the cultural center «Korabel».
Recall that the classes are held within the framework of the regional project «Sport is the norm of life.» In 2022, more than 12,000 people took part in citywide exercises.
