The film «The Road to Home» by the Sevastopol film company «Pushkin Film» was released

For Sevastopol residents, it is also interesting because it was filmed in Sevastopol by the local film company Pushkin Film. The main roles were played by Russian artists Yegor Beroev and Ksenia Alferova, the film also features actors from Sevastopol theaters named after Lunacharsky, named after Lavrenev and the Youth Theater. The plot of the film is quite intriguing: the usual way of life of the provincial priest Father Alexander is disturbed by a strange, almost mystical visit by a young girl with sad eyes. Wanting to help her, the priest plunges into the investigation of the tragic events, about which all the participants have been silent for more than forty years. Investigating the details of this alien story, he finds the answer to his most important question, the meaning of which lies in the ability or inability to forgive.
Of the Sevastopol artists, Tatyana Sytova (Lunacharsky Theatre), Svetlana Agafoshina, Victoria Shpakovskaya, Igor Smirnov, Igor Luchikhin, Boris Talakh, Vyacheslav Zemlyanoy (Lavrenev Theatre), Natalya Klochkova (SevTyuZ), and Nina Stanislavskaya ( Gorky Theatre, Simferopol).
The film will be previewed on February 1 at . in the retro cinema «Ukraine». The event also includes a meeting with the film crew and Sevastopol actors.
The film «The Road to Home» will open a series of film screenings dedicated to the upcoming 240 anniversary of Sevastopol, within which films shot in the city will be shown.
