The final of the competition “Together we are a great force, together we are the country of Russia!” took place in Sevastopol.

On the occasion of Russia Day and the 241st anniversary of the founding of the Hero City of Sevastopol, the final of the city competition for the best dance flash mob among preschool educational institutions of Sevastopol “Together we are a great force, together we — country Russia!».

From May 20 to 28, a qualifying round was held, in which more than 1,200 students from 20 preschool educational institutions of Sevastopol took part. The 6 best kindergarten teams reached the finals.

The finalists are the best of the best, and these are 300 children and more than 100 adults from kindergartens No. 89, 107, 127, 131, 132 and the Ecotech+ school. Our preschool children gathered here to express their love for our beautiful country, city, and to give others a good mood. Among the best teams, the jury determined the winner and prize-winners, – the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the preschool education department of the Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol, Elena Andrus.

Guests of the event were treated to massive dance compositions, original formations and incredible energy. Members of the expert jury evaluated the performances for the originality of the idea, successful implementation of the concept, synchronicity of execution, the use of attributes in the performance that distinguish the team from other teams, compliance of the musical composition with the content of the flash mob and the title of the performance.

I have been a member of the jury of this competition for five years now and I am happy to note that the format of the event has long outgrown the framework of a flash mob. Now this is a staging of not only the song, but the whole composition. The level of training of the children is growing every year, and the interest of not only teachers, but also their parents and children is visible. And most importantly, the children understand why they are participating in the competition. We have a future and it will be wonderful,” notes Ekaterina Golubova, head of the choreography department of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity.

The prizes were distributed as follows:

• 1st place – kindergartens No. 131 and No. 127;
• 2nd place – kindergarten No. 132 and kindergarten as part of the Ecotech+ school;
• 3rd place – kindergartens No. 107 and No. 89.
