REFERENCE:
The president of the festival, Andrey Vitalievich Chernov, has many titles and awards, and in 2016 he was the coordinator of events for the installation of the monument to “Polite People”, created by People’s Artist S.A. Shcherbakov.
The organizer of the festival is the RPO «Union of Writers of the Republic of Crimea» (chairman — Smirnov Valery Albertovich).
The RPO «Union of Writers of the Republic of Crimea» is the direct successor of the only Union of Writers of the USSR until 1991, created back in 1948. All these years, the Union (its mouthpiece is the literary, artistic and journalistic magazine Brega Tavrida) remained the only pro-Russian literary organization in Crimea.
