In the village of Novoandreevka (Simferopol district), a garage and two outbuildings were on fire in the private sector. The fire was extinguished within 5 hours.

Yesterday at 16:38 the operator on duty received information about a fire in the village. Novoandreevka. The emergency personnel on duty from the village went to the scene of the incident. Novoandreevka State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea» consisting of 3 people. and 1 unit. technicians, as well as employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea. Upon arrival, it was determined that a garage and 2 outbuildings were on fire in the private sector. There was a threat of fire spreading to residential buildings located nearby— said the emergency department.

The situation was complicated by strong, gusty winds. Firefighters managed to localize the open fire within 3 hours. After that, EMERCOM employees spent another 2 hours dismantling and watering the smoldering structures. The total time to extinguish the fire was 5 hours. The fire area was 80 square meters.

Thanks to the well-coordinated work of firefighters, it was possible to avoid further “transition” of the fire. There were no casualties. The causes of the emergency are being determined by experts.
