Today employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia held fire-tactical exercises in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.

According to tactical design, a short circuit in the electrical wiring in the meeting room on the ground floor caused a fire. Thanks to the automatic fire warning system, the facility administration took all measures to evacuate people. At the same time, the first fire brigades arrived at the scene of the conditional incident.— said in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.

In a matter of minutes, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out combat deployment and installation of special vehicles on hydrants for uninterrupted water supply. An operational headquarters was deployed on the spot. Firefighters as part of the gas and smoke protection service (GDZS) carried out reconnaissance of conditionally smoky premises. It turned out that not all employees of the institution were able to leave the building. GDZS specialists found two victims on the first and second floors. The first was taken out of the smoky room in a special rescue device, and the second was rescued with the help of a fire ladder.

In less than an hour, the simulated fire was extinguished, the goals of the exercises were achieved, and the tasks were completed in full. 70 people and 21 pieces of equipment were involved in the fire-tactical exercises, including 59 personnel and 16 pieces of equipment from the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
