Ministry of Emergency Situations exercises in the center of Simferopol.

Today, fire-tactical exercises were held in the building of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea. Their main goal is to work out the actions of fire departments when extinguishing a fire, conduct rescue operations, as well as check the functioning of fire protection systems and the actions of the facility personnel when a fire is detected.

67 people and 21 pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the simulated fire, of which 57 personnel and 17 pieces of special equipment were from the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

According to the tactical plan, a simulated fire occurred on the first floor. The fire was assigned the highest complexity rating provided for such objects.

Employees of the 1st Fire and Rescue Squad in a matter of minutes carried out a combat deployment and installation of fire trucks on hydrants for uninterrupted water supply. A fire fighting headquarters was deployed on the spot. The link of the gas and smoke protection service conducted reconnaissance of conditionally «smoky premises», as a result of which two people were rescued.
