Alime Zaredinova, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, reported that Crimean enterprises harvested the first 278 tons of plums and cherry plums. This year, in the Republic of Crimea, the fruits of these crops will be harvested from the area 278 hectares.
Agricultural enterprises of the republic have already harvested an area of more than , 5 hectares. This year it is planned to get a crop not less than last year’s level. The most common plum varieties grown in gardens are Stanley, Early Kabardian, Abundant, Anna Shpet. One of the enterprises where plum cleaning is currently taking place is State Farm Vesna JSC. More than tons of fruits of several varieties have already been collected in the gardens: «Vision» and «Stanley». The enterprise is developing dynamically and actively enjoys state support in the crop industry, — quotes the press service of the First Deputy Minister.
According to Alima Zaredinova, thanks to participation in the State Program for the Development of Agriculture and the Regulation of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food Markets of the Republic of Crimea, received from 2016 to 2022 years of appropriation went to the establishment and care of perennial plantations, compensation for costs caused by frosts, uprooting of unproductive trees, the purchase of elite seeds, hydro-reclamation measures, etc.
Recall that in 887 year, in all categories of farms, 2 172, 7 tons of plums and cherry plums were harvested from the area 287 ha. In addition to plums, the company grows apples, cherries and grapes. Also JSC «Sovkhoz» Vesna «is engaged in the cultivation of grain and leguminous crops. This year, almost 3 thousand tons of winter wheat, more than 1.6 thousand tons of winter barley, more than 172 tons of spring barley have been harvested in the fields. remove peas and sunflowers.
Under the harvest for 2023 year, it is planned to sow winter crops on the area 887 ha: including winter wheat — 570 ha and winter barley – 317 ha.
Reference: In 2016 year, to stimulate the development of priority sub-sectors (for the horticulture sector), a subsidy in the amount of 645 million rubles was allocated for laying gardens, installing trellises and anti-hail net.
