The first almanac «Pedagogical dynasties» was presented in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The idea of creating an almanac «Pedagogical dynasties» appeared at the Institute for the Development of Education. Its staff continues to collect information about teacher families today in order to include them in new publications. They are created within the framework of the «Flagships of Education» project. Representatives of the pedagogical dynasties of the city and students of the Pedagogical College met at the presentation of the first almanac. The collection includes stories about 13 Sevastopol families. The longest teaching experience of families in the first almanac is 172 years.
The creation of the almanac is a unique historical event in the world of pedagogy, in the education system as a whole. Teachers are the same outstanding personalities as cosmonauts, natural scientists, engineers. Teachers are those people without whom there would not be all those who are proud of our Fatherland. Teachers are educators of entire generations, and society should know their names— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science Stanislav Feoktistov.
During the event, the concept of the almanac, the history of its creation, the prospects for publishing and the possibility of familiarizing everyone with it, especially students of primary and high school, who are faced with the choice of a sphere of future professional activity, were presented.
Of course, it’s nice that a memory remains, a trace in history, in the education system. There is more than one generation of teachers in our family. The daughter-in-law is a philologist, and the grandson chose pedagogy. I have never regretted that I chose this path, although there were difficult moments in my life. My experience began with a senior counselor, then a teacher, then worked as a school director— notes the chairman of the Sevastopol trade union of education Tatyana Kozlova.
At the end of the meeting, all the guests received photo albums for memory, which will be filled with photographs of representatives of dynasties.
