The first cardiorebilitation department was opened in Crimea

The department is designed for 15 beds and takes patients who have undergone acute myocardial infarction (within a year after illness), heart surgery and trunk vessels, as well as patients with stable forms of cardiovascular diseases. Patients are directed to rehabilitation in the presence of indications and the absence of contraindications. With each patient, upon admission, a multidisciplinary team, which consists of specialists of different profiles, immediately begins to work. On the first day, an individual rehabilitation program is being developed, which includes drug treatment, psychological adaptation, physical rehabilitation and ergotherapy (social adaptation),-the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea said.

The purpose of the rehabilitation course is to restore lost functions, improve the quality of the patient’s life and return him to everyday life. In addition, for patients and their relatives, medical workers conduct classes in which they inform about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, factors that increase the risk of a repeated occurrence of pathology.

Recall that last year, the GBUZ of the RK “Crimean Republican Clinical Hospital for War Veterans” as part of the regional program “Optimum to restore health medical rehabilitation” was completed by modern rehabilitation equipment.
