The first concrete shelters arrive in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At the staff meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, security measures that were introduced earlier following the extraordinary plenary session of the Legislative Assembly were discussed.

The first concrete shelters have begun to arrive in Sevastopol; they will be installed, as I have already said, on beaches, in parks and at bus stops.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.

To date, 160 entrances in apartment buildings in the city have been programmed with remote door opening systems in case of a Ballistics signal – these are digital and analog intercoms.

In total, we plan to connect 6,000 entrances to this system, it will be integrated with the Safe City program, work is ongoingnotes acting deputy governor Evgeny Gorlov.

Also, for safety purposes, all drivers, inspectors, and conductors of public transport were instructed on how to behave when receiving an “Air Raid” or “Ballistic” signal.

In case of air raid alarm, the bus goes to the nearest stop, pocket or parking lot, passengers are advised to get out of the cabin and go to the nearest shelter. In case of ballistic danger, since time is very limited, the driver stops the transport immediately, without violating traffic rules and takes the right lane to make way for special transport; passengers should take seats in the aisle, away from the windowssays the director of the transport department, Stanislav Tamataev.

Boats and ferries take people to the pier. In case of air raid alarm, passengers leave the cabin and go to shelters, in case of ballistic signal — remain in the cabin until the all clear.

In case of air raid sirens, passengers, drivers and bus station staff are evacuated to a shelter located in the nearest MFC building. In case of ballistics, everyone takes places in the bus station building, away from the windows.

As I have already said, public transport workers are trained in first aid rules. Transport is provided with additional first aid kits, which include tourniquets and bandages.– the governor emphasizes.
